Story Times Schedule
Activities for all groups include films, songs, fingerplays, and theme related crafts adjusted to appeal to each age group.
Registration for PreSchool Storytimes Starts The Week of 9/13
Sessions run from 9/20 to 10/30
- 2 year olds' Story Times are held Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:15.
- 3 and 4 year olds' Story Times are on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:15.
- 4 and 5 year olds' Story Times are on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:30.

A new Community Playgroup for children ages 18 months to 3 years will be held on Tuesdays from 10am to 12noon. Each child must be accompanied by a parent. This will run all year. Toys and activities will be provided. There are limited openings for this group.

The Mother - Daughter Book Group will continue in October. Youth services librarians, Toni-Golinski-Foisy and Mary Gibbs, will help those wishing to start new groups.

The "Harry Potter and The Muggles Club" for kids 9 and older who have read HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE, by J.K. Rowlings, will be held Tuesday evenings starting at 6:30 on September 28th.
The Teen X-treme Zine group of writers, editors, poets, and others aged 12 and older who want to help publish Teen X-tremewill meet from 6:30 to 7:30 at the library starting September 14th .

Other Activities At Your Public Library Include
After School Antics on Wednesdays from 3:45 to 4:40pm. School aged kids can create crafts to take home. This could help with that special school show and tell project
And so could this: THE YOUTH ROOM ALL DAY CRAFT TABLE is available on Fridays for kids to create do-it-yourself crafts to take home. Materials and instructions provided.
And ask about opportunities for kids to display their favorite books and win prizes.
